The travel

I rented a big truck. I asked my brother to help me bring all my staff to the truck. I also bought a new bed, things for renovation and two bikes.
I took with me my 4 dogs and I went in the truck to Mazury region.
I slept at mattress with my dogs all the way, because it was night when we finished bringing things to the truck.

How to finance the farm purchase?

I went to a bank. The bank refused to give credit. I visited all banks in Szczecin, including agrocultural one. They all refused. I asked my mother to lend me some money. The mother refused.
So I sold my apartament, packet my things and moved into the farm.

The desision

I has been considering leaving the comfy apartament in Szczecin and moving into nature for a long time, but I needed the sign, the strong impuls.
So the impuls came one day. A Warsaw friend sent me a CD with movie called "The Truman Show". It impressed me a lot. I wached it several times. But after first watching it, I have made the desision to change my life totally. I felt like flying bird.

Living in the big Polish city was very nice, safe and I had good friends there and nice clients. I was addicted to the Internet. My life was perfectly organized and my apartament modern and comfy, located in the Szczecin's trade centre. So I gave an ad to Polish newspaper called Kontakt. And I received offers. I had chosen one. I talked to the previous farm owner.
I asked him to send me the farm pics via e-mail. 15 years ago it was a problem in Poland.
Not many people in Poland were using computers and specially the Internet then. So I needed to wait for the pics to come. And they came after a couple of days. I said, "I am interested".

About me

I have been living in harmony with nature for the last 15 years. In 2002 I bought an old, wild farm with neglected buildings in the north eastern Poland and moved into it. I did so, because I wanted to live among nature, in my own home, with my own garden and orchard and I wanted to breed horses and other animals. I also wanted to have and use my own stream. I dreamed of having  and enjoying look of a pond with swimming birds. The pond surrounded by trees and beautiful flowers. I dreamed of having breakfast at green meadows in summer time. I planned to build water turbin and private electric power plant to produce electricity from the stream and be energetictly and economicly independed from the state system. I wanted to use fully and develop my original creativity talents. I wanted to live freely and happily. I wanted my dreams come true.
I am idealist who believe, that happy, free life depends on me, on my efforts, talents, hard work and strong will.
